RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization

RMA Instructions

Frontier Imaging Return Policy

The following guidelines must be complied with for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number to be issued.

All RMA requests must be sent via email or fax.

No RMA requests will be granted after thirty (30) calendar days from original invoice date.

If product is approved for return, a 35% minimum restocking fee will be charged.

All non product failure related returns must be in original packaging and condition. No refund will be granted if the following conditions are not met:

 

  • All packaging in original condition
  • No tape, writing, marking, or additional label(s) on original packaging or product.
  • All return items must be in original boxes, secured in appropriate packaging.

 

Tracking

All RMA items must be sent via traceable means (such as UPS, FedEX, US Postal Service Priority Mail, etc.) The customer is responsible for the product until it is received by Frontier Imaging.

 

Shipping and Shipping Charges

Shipping charges to Frontier Imaging are the responsibility of the customer.

 

All returns must be shipped freight prepaid to:

Dead on Arrival (DOA) Products

 

Dead on Arrival (DOA) part returns must include photographic evidence. If no images are provided, your RMA request will be denied.

 

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Products

 

Frontier Imaging does not accept any OEM product returns.

 

Special Orders

 

Special orders, such as spare parts, cannot be cancelled or returned.

 

RMA Number and Closing Procedure

 

Issuance of an RMA number does not imply credit will be issued.

 

After an RMA number has been issued, it will be valid for fifteen (15) calendar days.

 

If Frontier Imaging has not received the RMA item(s) from the customer within fifteen (15) days of the RMA assignment date, the RMA request case will be closed.

 

 

Warranty and Limited Liability

I. Frontier Imaging makes no representation of warranty or implied warranty. Buyers further agree that Frontier Imaging, Inc. will not be held liable for consequential damage to systems or components internal or external. Buyer accepts full responsibility for use of said products.

II. Frontier Imaging does not warrant any Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products in any way against workmanship defects or defective performance. Recourse for OEM product(s) should be pursued with the respective OEM product manufacturer(s).

III. Frontier Imaging warrants the following compatible product types that it distributes for a period of 90 days from the date of invoice:

a. Compatible, or remanufactured toner

b. Compatible cleaning blades

c. Compatible fuser and cleaning rollers

d. Compatible exposure and heater lamps

IV. The compatible product types listed in #III are warranted against out-of-box defects in workmanship and materials. Frontier Imaging, however, reserves the right to determine correct storage, handling and installation, as well as proof of purchase.

V. The compatible product types listed in #III are guaranteed to perform in accordance with the OEM's specifications for copy quality and product life. Should a warranted product fail to perform according to the foregoing, Frontier Imaging will replace it at no charge upon verification of defective performance. Under this guarantee, Frontier Imaging's liability shall be limited as stated above, and shall not extend to any secondary or consequential damage or loss.

VI. The foregoing warranties #IV and #V are Frontier Imaging's only warranties for the listed compatible products. All warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby excluded.
